How this product travels. Full loads go in a 40 ft high-cube container or a full truck.
Up to 3 different products can share one truck or container. Each starts at 10 pallets of 50 L or 70 L bags, 8 pallets of 250 L bags or 6 pallets of big bales. Figures move a little with pallet type and product density.
What it is used for
- A limed base for growers and substrate makers who add their own fertiliser.
Anything here can be mixed to your own recipe: a different fertiliser, more perlite, clay, a different pH or pack size.
Description
Base substrate made of white Sphagnum peat moss. It is limed with calcitic and dolomitic limestone, which also supply calcium and magnesium. No fertiliser is added, so the grower doses their own. A wetting agent helps it take up water and spread it evenly. Peat moss is naturally free of plant diseases, weeds and impurities.
Made in Latvia.
About the raw material
The lightest peat we ship, 80 to 200 kg per 1000 L, so more of it fits in a truck. Packed in 6000 L big bales.
Instruction for use
Mix well, aerate and water before using.
Store in a cool, dry place, away from heat sources and open flame.
Safety information
This product has no harmful effect on people, animals or the environment when used as a growing medium for plants. Inhalation: if inhaled, provide fresh air. Eye contact: rinse eyes with water. Skin contact: keep open wounds covered and clean, as suggested by any good hygiene programme. Caution: in case of fire, burning may continue inside bags or piles after the surface fire is out. Break bags or separate the pile to make sure the fire is extinguished.
