From raw peat to finished growing media

The production process starts with the selection and preparation of Baltic Sphagnum peat raw materials and continues through screening, fractioning, formulation, mixing and final packaging.

Milled and block-cut peat

We work with both milled and block-cut peat raw materials, which allows us to produce different structures ranging from extra-fine propagation grades to coarse professional growing media.

Mixing runs on computer-controlled lines, each product to its own fixed recipe. The lines blend peat categories with perlite, clay, wood fibre, limestone, wetting agent and NPK 14:16:18 starter fertiliser, with Radigen micronutrients where a recipe asks for them.

  • pH to EN 13037 on every datasheet.
  • Fractions from 0–5 mm through to 20–40 mm.
  • Only first-grade additives, no fillers.
  • Published figures are typical values, with a batch analysis on request.

We produce it and deliver it

Peat is bulky and cheap per tonne, so freight decides whether an order makes sense. We quote delivered prices, load full trucks and 40 ft high-cube containers, and handle the export paperwork ourselves.

We visit our growers

We go to the nurseries and farms that grow in our peat and substrates, and look at the crop with them in the greenhouse and in the field.
