What it is used for

  • Basic ingredient for substrates and growing mixes.
  • Soil improvement for blueberries and other acid-loving crops.
Description

Natural dark-brown Sphagnum peat moss, moderately to highly decomposed, harvested from a raised bog and screened. Nothing is added and it is not chemically treated. Peat is one of the fertilisers and soil conditioners authorised in organic production under Regulation (EU) 2018/848, listed in Annex II of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/1165, for use in horticulture. Peat moss is naturally free of plant diseases, weeds and impurities.

Made in Lithuania.

Instruction for use

Mix well, aerate and water before using.

Store in a cool, dry place, away from heat sources and open flame.

This product has no harmful effect on people, animals or the environment when used as a growing medium for plants. Inhalation: if inhaled, provide fresh air. Eye contact: rinse eyes with water. Skin contact: keep open wounds covered and clean, as suggested by any good hygiene programme. Caution: in case of fire, burning may continue inside bags or piles after the surface fire is out. Need it limed, fertilised or blended?

This grade is raw peat. The substrate range takes the same material to pH 5.5 to 6.5 and adds fertiliser, perlite or wood fibre.
